Duck Hunting on the Lower Columbia
River
The Columbia River Maritime
Museum is proud to present a new exhibit of duck decoys, skiffs, and
photographs of the spectacular lower Columbia River Estuary. This exhibit,
a first by the Columbia River Maritime Museum, features some of the finest
hand carved and painted Pacific Northwest decoys ever to be exhibited on
the West Coast.
Exhibit runs from 10-22-2005 through 12-31-2006

Twenty two of the finest Bergman decoys are grouped together in one
display case with Charlie's original decoy patterns and his personal
working tools that he used to create these wonderful working decoys. This
group consists of mallards, pintails, teal, teal jewelry box,
canvasback and widgeon. The most know photo of Charles Magnus Bergman at
his work place before he retired to a full time decoy maker. |
